Olympic commentary

Wow, the women kicked ass in the their relay - breaking the longest swimming record in history! First the men upset the Australians last night, then the women annihiliate the competition tonight. Awesome. Too bad Paul Hamm sucked on the vault, it could have been a good night for Amercian gymnastics. Although at the moment, Brett McClure is doing quite well. Who knows? Even Hamm has a chance to medal, with the way everybody else is doing. Isn't this the Olympics? I'm expecting perfection! Oh, well. I certainly couldn't do any of this stuff, so I give everybody props for what they're doing.

Holy cow! Just goes to show what I know. I continued to watch, and Hamm had great routines on both the parallel bars and the high bar. What a comeback, the closest margin of victory in that event's history! I have to feel sorry for the South Koreans, though. They did really well and should have had it, by all expectations. Wow, that's just nuts.

Re: Addendum

I looked on the 'net this afternoon to see what happened. So glad I did. It eliminated a lot of stress. I could just sit there and giggle while the commentators said there was no way he could even medal. Hehe.

The women and their relay was very cool, but the men last night were awesome. Michael Phelps seemed more excited about winning that than he individual golds.

Our cable is out again because our neighbors finally took the tree branch down so I didn't get to see it and it's my favorite event of the olympics ... stupid... freaking... cable!!!
