Eating dead things

Yes, I was being facetious. It is interesting that you say this, though, because I was just reading 1st Samuel the other day. The big controversy was that the priests were behaving improperly, which eventually led to Israel's defeat at the hands of the Philistines. Among other things, they were desecrating the animal sacrifices and offending God in the process. So, in a way, the issue of eating dead things can be important to one's relationship with the Lord!

Oh, I think the issue of eating dead things is very important to one's relationship with God--I am a strict vegetarian for spiritual reasons. But I also believe that everyone is the beloved of God, regardless of what they eat.
