Bunnies in mortal peril

I just stumbled across this icon within getfuzzyfeed and thought it was pretty darn funny:
  *LOL*

Also, I had a very exciting time mowing the lawn yesterday -- no joke.  I was pushing the lawn mower along when a fuzzy blur suddenly burst out from under the front bumper!  It was a little bunny rabbit, fleeing to safer ground.  I calmed my heart down, then proceeded along when it happened again 10 seconds later!  All in all, I think five rabbits took off four separate times.  The scary thing was that these bunnies were either extremely ballsy or too frightened to move until they had no choice but to flee because they waited until I was right on top of them.  I fully expected to hear the blades start crunching bones and see blood splattering out onto the grass.  They all managed to get away, though!  Whew.  I would have hated to explain that to my folks, though my dad was ill -pleased to find our grass in our front yard had gotten high enough to allow them to burrow in in the first place.  I suggested we leave the back lawn as a wildlife preserve; he was not amused.

ooooh yeah i used to mow lawns for a school system back home in greenfield and i ended up killing a couple of bunnies that way. It is a sad way to go. They just get so scared that they forget their "fight or flight instinct". Of course I was out in the middle of the country, mowing lawns on a huge campus. bunnies were all over the place. Its a wonder i didn't kill more.

Bunnies!

Eww. I guess you were going faster, since I'm assuming you were on a riding mower. At least it's quick, I found a dead bunny out on the front lawn the other day just laying there and wondered if it had suffered. *sniff*

Horrible twisting of Beauty and the Beast

Poor bunnies! I bet they were scared senseless.
