Ayla Goes Home

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO jedibuttercup!!!

As squealnakedcatj and sergeantbond can attest, I sometimes become, umm, vocal when I really get into something.  I can tell I'm into "American Idol" this year because I reacted quite strongly when Ayla was eliminated and Melissa got through to the next round.  I like Melissa (and would have preferred her over Kellie and Kinnik), but much preferred Ayla in their one-on-one showdown.  Anyway, I literally jumped to the edge of my seat when Seacrest announced the results and screamed, "What the hell?!  That is BULLS---!!!"  Silly me, though it was sad to see her go and I thought her farewell was quite touching.  I also would have preferred Gideon to Bucky, though that didn't really upset me.  Interesting to see that the judges picked the person I preferred both times and the other one ended up going on.  Just goes to show, America should always agree with me!  Hmph.

Conan goes to Finland tonight!  He has been saving all the footage for a one-hour special tonight, I'm going to tape it.  Hee, hee!

Have not been feeling well today, will be going back to bed here shortly.  Just wanted to wish jedibuttercup all the best tonight, then I hope I can still go to the Purdue Open early tomorrow. *crosses fingers*  Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!

I hope you're feeling better. I have been fighting something off and on for a couple weeks and our weather hasn't been helping.
