It has? The website doesn't say that. *pouts* I really liked that show. And with Satan showing up, it was getting interesting. More than the same old "God gives Joan a wonky assignment and she embarrasses herself obeying but is glad in the end" plot. (Which was good but, y'know, got old.)

I was really looking forward to the next season.

Checked it twice

My parents are fans of the show, and I was composing an e-mail for them with this info:

Of CBS' bubble shows, "NUMB3RS," "Still Standing" and "Yes, Dear" all earned renewals, while the network did away with long-running hit "Judging Amy" and buzz-to-bust second-year drama "Joan of Arcadia" among other shows. Instead, four new dramas and two new comedies are set for the fall, with Friday and Monday getting the largest overhauls.

Gone from the CBS schedule are Joan of Arcadia, Judging Amy, Listen Up and 60 Minutes Wednesday.

TV Gal Paranoid over Network Decisions
Well, well, well, it was a veritable TV bloodbath last week. The networks announced their Fall 2005 lineups and (I'm really trying not to take it personally) but it was as if they decided to ax every show I was rooting for. "American Dreams," "Jack & Bobby," "Joan of Arcadia," "Judging Amy" and "Eyes" -- gone, gone and gone. Go ahead, tell me the networks aren't out to get me. Doesn't a show like "Judging Amy" deserve a more proper send-off? How can they leave "Joan of Arcadia" with a cliffhanger we will never have an answer to?

(At least we're not the only ones!)
